Tool Kit

This basket making tool kit includes the following basketry tools:

Reed scissors
4 x 2" Metal clamps
4 x 2.5" Plastic clamps
Straight tipped packer


Reed scissors: Basketry and floral shears- with red/white handles. 8” long.

2" Metal Clamps: Metal clamp with rubber covers on handles and jaw. 2 inches long overall. Jaws open 3/4" wide.

2.5" Plastic Clamps: Colors and assortment may vary. Constructed of high impact nylon and fiberglass with a tempered steel spring. 2 1/2 inches long overall. Jaws open 1 inch wide.

Straight tipped packer: a flat ended awl used to pack the rows of a basket together, also used when creating the rim on a basket.
