We're a small business dedicated to making fiber arts and crafting accessible and easy to dive into, just like our founder Brittany did when she started weaving baskets at the young age of ten.

Brittany's passion for fiber arts has taken her on a journey that has included weaving baskets in the bathroom next to the bathtub, hand cleaning pounds of wool in the backyard, spinning thousands of yards of yarn only to move on to a new project, and traveling around with an ever-growing assortment of tools and materials in tow.

She's professionally designed and created several wedding dresses, sewn samples for a local pattern-making company, and taught basket weaving classes all over the Pacific Northwest.

Now, Brittany is on a mission to share her love of fiber arts with the world through TextileIndie.com. We offer a wide selection of fiber arts supplies, basket weaving kits, and instruction manuals to help you get started on your own fiber arts journey.
